Gospel Communities
What are they?
Gospel communities are the way we as a church express the fact that being a Christian is about more than just turning up on a Sunday morning.
It is how we show our belonging to each other during the week by meeting up formally or informally in large or small groups, with or without the Bible and with or without prayer.
The aim of a Gospel community to to share lives deeply and naturally during the week.
Here's a few examples of the kind of things we do: Bible studies, trips to the park or cinema, birthday meals, beach BBQs, trips to the pub, men's and women's nights, Wine tasting and baby sitting for each other.
As you can see, it's quite hard to describe exactly what a Gospel community is, but they're great! We try to include each others friends in all our activities and think it's fine when someone can't get along to something because they're spending time with non-church friends.
When are they?
That all depends... They can be almost anytime and anywhere - the best way to find out is to get involved.
How do I get involved?
The best place to start is to contact us and come along on a Sunday Morning because that's when the whole church comes together, as you get to know people, you can get involved with what the Gospel communities are doing.
